​Description on back: One of Bangkok's architectural treasures, this mansion, formerly known as 'Banthomsilpha', was built by an Italian architect commissioned by King Rama VI in 1922. Made of teakwood and imported Italian marble in the 'Venetian Gothic' style, it has housed prime ministers and many state guests in its past.
